Mazda 6 diesel fuel consumption. My husband purchased a new Mazda 6 estate in November 2010. He previously owned a Honda Accord. Since buying it he has constantly complained of poor diesel consumption compared to the Honda & can hardly manage to get 40 mpg, even on a run.
